By registering for and/or attending this event produced and/or sponsored by Meridian University and any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, independent contractors or other corporations controlled directly or indirectly by Meridian University (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Meridian,”) you understand and agree to this Terms and Conditions document in its entirety. Hereinafter “You,” “Registrants,” “Participants,” or “Attendees” refers to anyone registering for or attending in any capacity a Meridian event. A Meridian event is defined as any course, workshop, public or private event, program, conference, seminar, webinar, or other activity not covered by a fully executed Enrollment Agreement between an enrolled student and the University.
All persons/organizations purchasing or accepting tickets (registering) as well as any persons not registering themselves but attending acknowledge and agree to the following restrictions and conditions as the criteria of being accepted to attend this event and understand that failure to comply with all parts of this document are cause for Meridian to refuse such persons and agents of such organizations entry to the event or eject them from this event without refund of fees paid. Meridian reserves the right to withhold refund of fees paid in the event that Meridian determines that these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to. You agree that Meridian has the right to make the determination that anyone attending the event including yourself or anyone attending on your behalf has failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Current Meridian University students may be restricted from registration from certain Hybrid and Online Courses based on applicable Meridian University policies.
For the purposes of this agreement, Meridian University is located at 47 Sixth Street Petaluma, CA and can be contacted by postal mail, phone or email. Email and phone accessibility is only during regular business hours and not guaranteed. Meridian does not accept drop-in inquiries in-person. These are subject to change without notice.

By registering for and/or attending a Meridian event, you are agreeing to adhere to standards of professional conduct appropriate to the event context as determined by the University. Disparagement, disruption, interruption, computer hacking and other forms of technical activity counter to the University’s software application intent and design, inappropriate communication, failure to follow event guidelines, rules, policies, or instructions, and disregard for the direction of event leaders/facilitators/faculty are all prohibited and are examples of disruptive behavior.
Students and Participants of Meridian University Hybrid and Online Courses must have their video enabled during the length of the course meeting and session. Failure to enable video might result in the removal of the course and exempt the participant from any refund for the course.
If Meridian University staff determine that a participant is disruptive to the event, the University reserves the right to withdraw the participant from the event.
You agree that you will not harm or disrupt in any way any event produced by Meridian University and that your conduct will not include physical or emotional violence or harm in anyway towards participants, staff, presenters, conveners, etc at the event. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately and if necessary the authorities will be contacted. This code of conduct applies to electronic communications, uploaded files and other social media as well.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other registrants, attendees, or any other parties with whom you interact through or in relation to any Meridian events. Meridian reserves the right, but has no obligation, to become involved in any way with these disputes. Meridian is not responsible for the conduct of third parties and has no liability for the results of your interactions.
Children under 18 are not permitted at Meridian events.
By submitting registration details, participants agree to allow Meridian University to contact them regarding other events and programs.
It is the responsibility of all participants and speakers to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the event. Meridian University will not assume responsibility for loss of, theft of, or damage to participant's property. Meridian does not assume responsibility for any medical expenses for participants. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover health and travel for this period. Your insurance should also cover your inability to travel as Meridian University will not be liable in the event that you have paid for travel you are unable to take.
Views expressed by speakers are their own. Meridian University cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at any event or in any material provided to participants.
Meridian University will use the speaker’s name and affiliation for promoting attendance at the event, both before and after the event.
Photography, Recordings and filming of the event is strictly forbidden without the express consent of Meridian University. If such an incident occurs any people violating this policy may be asked to leave. Distributing, quoting or sharing any content of the event, whether verbally, electronically or printed is strictly prohibited without first seeking the approval of Meridian and anyone depicted or quoted in said content. This extends to Blogs, Tweets and other Social Networking Platforms.
By registering for this event or agreeing to be a speaker/facilitator of this event, you agree to fully release Meridian University to make audio-visual recordings of your image and/or voice and distribute such recordings as deemed appropriate by Meridian. You agree that you will not be compensated in anyway, at any time, for this perpetual license.
Access to the online learning platform may be revoked any time after the conclusion of the course or event. Access to recordings included in a course or event is limited to one month after the listed end date or last class of the course, whichever comes later.
All refund requests must be received in writing (by email or postal mail) at least one week (7 days) in advance of an event in order to receive a refund. Cancellations received at least one week (7 days) in advance will be charged a $20 processing fee. Refund requests received less than one week (7 days) before an event are non-refundable.
Refund requests are to be submitted to publicprograms@MeridianUniversity.edu or mailed to Meridian University 47 Sixth Street, Petaluma, CA 94952.
Meridian will only refund fees paid direct to Meridian University. Refunds will be authorized and sent for processing within 10 business days of receiving a refund request.
Should any events sponsored by Meridian University be jeopardised due to unforeseen circumstances, such as but not limited to:
Meridian will find an alternative venue if possible. Should a situation occur where Meridian University must postpone the event (determined at Meridian University’s discretion), your registration fee will be transferred to the new date of the event.
Should Meridian cancel this event, the maximum amount owed to you will be the registration fees you paid to Meridian for this specific event.
You are required to secure your own travel arrangements.This is not the responsibility of Meridian University or any individuals associated with this event. Meridian is not liable for any costs associated with your travel arrangements under any circumstance even if the event is cancelled.
It is your responsibility to obtain an entry visa to visit a country if it is required.
Meridian University website may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which Meridian University takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website. Use of these sites is at your own risk and Meridian University does not assume responsibility.
By attending the event and filling in a feedback form, you agree that Meridian University may use your feedback and opinions on the ‘Testimonial’ webpage of the Meridian University Website. If your feedback is ‘Negative’ we will not edit your opinions to select and include any ‘Positive’ comments which unfairly reflect your views.
Please note that Meridian University maintains the right to remove add or modify the Terms and Conditions as set out with or without notice. By participating in and/or attending a Meridian University event, you understand that you are agreeing to the then-current version of these Terms and Conditions.
